Fort Mill, S.C., March 2, 2015 - Honeywell (NYSE: HON) today announced that it has completed its acquisition of Datamax-O’Neil, a global manufacturer of fixed and mobile printers used in a variety of retail, warehouse and distribution, and health care applications. The $185 million deal was announced in December of 2014.
At the recent NRF show in New York, DatamaxO'Neil (D-O) announced partnerships with two leading providers of managed print services (MPS). Thomas Brahm, product manager Stationary Business Unit, said the D-O H-8308p and Performance series printers now offer the ability to take advantage of MPS software that has heretofore only been compatible with laser and inkjet printers. D-O's autoload feature is one of the technologies needed to capitalize on what MPS brings to the table.
