Datamax-O’Neil’s New Valued Partner Program for EMEA Energizes Channel Relationships

New Program Offers Partners Opportunities for Growth and Increased Profitability

VALENCE, FRANCE – April 6, 2010 -- Datamax-O’Neil, part of Dover Corporation’s Product Identification Platform and global provider of label and receipt printing solutions, announced the expansion of its Valued Partner Program (VPP) to its partners in the EMEA region. The innovative channel program has been structured to reduce channel conflict, adapt to evolving European integration, bring consistent channel structure based on business models, and offer a number of marketing and sales-related advantages.

The VPP for EMEA builds on the successful foundation that has been established for Datamax-O’Neil partners in other regions of the world, but has been tailored specifically for EMEA. In the new program, all transactions with Datamax-O’Neil within the Eurozone will take place in Euros. In addition, each product category (stationary and portable printers) will have a simple discount off the list price. Further, the program is designed to offer growth incentives in the form of rebates and market development support that are tied to performance.

“Datamax-O’Neil and our EMEA partners are uniquely positioned for growth, and the Valued Partner Program is definitely a win-win for us and our partner community,” said Christian Bischoff, Datamax-O’Neil’s regional general manager for EMEA. “The automatic identification market is growing rapidly, and the partners that can offer a high value proposition in the sales process will ultimately be more successful. Our program is designed to help our resellers take advantage of this dynamic market with a number of benefits that will grow their business and customer base.”

The program will be implemented during the second quarter of 2010 and executed throughout the remainder of the year. Other benefits of the Valued Partner Program include enhanced customer service and technical support, a variety of training options, on-line technical tools, and numerous go-to-market resources designed to increase sales opportunities and market exposure.

The MP Compact series of printers have achieved considerable success in Europe.  “We expect these printers to achieve similar success in other “Our new program, combined with Datamax-O’Neil’s broad range of products
which has been expanded by the recent Extech acquisition, gives our partners a unique competitive position that will allow them to build a successful future,” Bischoff concluded.
