Value Added Distributors joining the Datamax-O’Neil Valued Partner Program benefit from numerous opportunities to significantly stretch their business reach by taking advantage of the marketing muscle Datamax-O’Neil provides.
Datamax-O’Neil offers one-on-one collaboration, in-depth training and after sales technical support to strengthen the VADs sales team. Our co-op, market development funds and sales lead distribution programs give VAD Partners a significant edge over competitors.

The Solution Valued Partner specializes in solution offerings for specific vertical markets. The SVP is classified by VDC as Systems Integrators reselling hardware, peripherals, software, support and services to provide 100% solutions for end-user customers. This category includes Independent Software Vendors (ISV) that bundle hardware or peripherals with their published software to make a total solution into targeted vertical markets.

The Business Valued Partner category is typified by Resellers that address horizontal application markets, usually compliance and/or generic AIDC applications. A BVP is classified by VDC as a “Value-Added Reseller” (VAR), covering a fairly broad range of industry markets and provides most solutions for end-users including hardware, software and peripherals with some level of professional services.

The Authorized Business Partner category is the base level of VPP for resellers. It is offered to resellers that meet basic VPP policy requirements and includes resellers classified by Venture Development Corporation (VDC) as “Dealer/Distributor”. This category includes low-revenue Datamax-O’Neil resellers that do not meet a minimum revenue threshold to qualify for Business Value Partner (BVP).
